Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can easily book your trek through our website by clicking on "Book Now". From there you will be transferred to our booking request form that you need to fill out and submit. We will get back to you via whatsapp to confirm your booking and send you the bank details for the 20% deposit. Once we have received your deposit your booking is confirmed. The rest of the payment is made on arrival day at the ranch and needs to be payed in cash. For our treks we only accept Euro.

  • We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons.

  • For our Cappadocia treks the weight limit is 85kg for our Arabian horses.

  • We have beautiful well-trained, reliable and highly energetic arabian mares suitable for different riding levels. They are very fit and have the typical arabian stamina. We also have a few local Turkish Anatolian breeds.

  • Our guides match you with your horse based on your height, weight, riding level as well as your personality.

  • Absolutely not. Our Advanced Rides (whether it’s a short ride or our multiple day trek) can only be booked by riders who have many years of riding experience and can trot, canter and gallop with correct technique. You need to be at least on a trot and canter level. “I have been on a horse a few times and even galloped“ or “I went horse riding while on holiday in xy country” does NOT count as real riding experience.

  • Yes, we can accommodate non-riders who accompanies our trek guests. They can enjoy the beautiful landscapes while you ride. If non-riders want to stay at the same hotel and share a room with you or need a airport pick up and drop off, extra costs will be added. We can also organise activities for them while you are out riding.

  • No! We offer riding treks for all levels including beginners, intermediate riders and advanced riders.

  • Cappadocia is accessible by flights to Kayseri airport (around 60min from us) or Nevşehir airport (around 40min from us). Usually it is cheaper to land in Kayseri airport especially if you arrive from Europe. We offer airport pick-up and drop-off from BOTH airports as part of your trek package. You can arrive on any time and any day you like.

  • We provide beautiful and comfortable accomodation at our beautiful partner hotels - we like to work with different partner hotels depending on season, availability, group size etc. Two riders share one room.

  • We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, riding boots, riding gloves, sunscreen, a hat and one warm jacket.

  • While not mandatory, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance covering riding activities and medical emergencies.

  • Yes, we can tailor a private individualised trek to meet your preferences. Please contact us for more information.

  • Yes! On each trek there will be guides who are fluent in English and are experienced in guiding riders of all riding levels.

  • We can accommodate special dietary requirements for example if you are vegetarian/vegan or have any allergies. We can NOT accomodate celiac disease unfortunately. Please inform us at the time of booking and we will make the necessary arrangements. All our meals are halal.

  • We monitor the weather closely. Usually we will still go out and ride as weather is unpredictable and you can't always expect sunshine and good weather. We ride in every weather - rain, sunshine, snow, wind as long as it is safe.

  • Our age limit is 16 and above. Children can not join.
